Graham Norton sported a black sling at the BAFTA Television Awards following recent shoulder surgery.

Graham Norton, 62, has disclosed he underwent major shoulder surgery just weeks before hosting the 2025 Eurovision Song Contest in Basel, Switzerland. The presenter revealed the news on The Scott Mills Radio Show, joking about his recovery: “This is my left shoulder’s first appearance on radio—it’s brand new, less than two weeks old. It’s a little owie, but I’m on many medications, so if I say anything wild, blame the drugs!”

Norton, a Eurovision staple since 2009, didn’t elaborate on the cause of his injury but assured fans he’s ready for Saturday’s final. His trademark wit remains intact despite the sling spotted at the BAFTAs.

UK’s Eurovision Hope: Remember Monday
This year, the UK pins its hopes on girl group Remember Monday, their first female trio entry since Precious in 1999. The Hampshire-based band—Lauren Byrne, Charlotte Steele, and Holly-Anne Hull—will perform What The Hell Just Happened?, a track praised for its harmonies and bold staging.

Remember Monday aims to break the UK’s Eurovision slump with their song "What The Hell Just Happened?"

Fans rallied online, with one tweeting: “Their vocals are flawless—top 10 guaranteed!” Another added, “This could finally be our year!” The trio, speaking on BBC Breakfast, called the experience “surreal” after months of rehearsals.

Eurovision’s Comeback King
Norton’s role as commentator has made him a fan favorite, blending sharp humor with heartfelt support for acts. Despite the UK’s mixed history—Sam Ryder’s 2022 second-place finish aside—the 2025 contest promises high stakes and glamour.
