Brooke responded Thursday on Instagram, clarifying that her decision to cut ties with both parents stemmed from years of alleged abuse. “My reasons for no contact with each parent are separate,” she wrote. “I’ve been verbally, mentally, and sometimes physically abused since childhood. Sadly, it wasn’t always by who you’d assume.”
