West fired shots at Swift’s Grammy Awards appearance, where she danced to Kendrick Lamar’s Not Like Us—a song referencing Lamar’s feud with Drake. He tweeted, “IF ITS ABOUT THE CULTURE… WHY ARE WE LETTING TAYLOR SWIFT BE SEEN ON TV SINGING A SONG ABOUT TAKING A BLACK MAN DOWN?” He also claimed Lamar is “BEING USED BY WHITE PEOPLE AND JEWS AND SO AM I.”

The Swift-West feud dates back to 2009 when West infamously interrupted Swift’s MTV VMA acceptance speech, declaring Beyoncé deserved the award. Tensions reignited in 2016 over his song Famous, which called Swift a “b****.” West insisted she approved the lyrics, but Swift denied it. Kim Kardashian later leaked a phone call between Swift and West, labeling the singer a “snake” on social media.

Despite the backlash, West defended his tweets in a video, stating, “I’m in a good space… it’s worth everything to do that.” He dismissed concerns about his mental state, saying, “I’m really in a positive space. It’s cathartic.”

X/Twitter added a sensitive-content warning to his profile amid posts attacking celebrities, domestic violence victims, and religious groups. West mocked the disclaimer, tweeting, “I’m kissing Elon’s a** begging him not to cancel my account.” He also clashed with Musk directly, replying to a user calling Musk a “fake Nazi” with, “EVERYBODY’S A NAZI TILL A REAL NAZI PULLS UP.”

West further accused Musk of limiting his reach, writing, “MY TWITTER REACH HAS BEEN LIMITED… WELCOME TO AMERICA.” He concluded by claiming he’d join Discord to avoid censorship.
