Kelce Brothers Contemplate Uncertain Future of Hit New Heights Podcast
Travis and Jason Kelce Pause ‘New Heights’ Podcast Ahead of NFL Season

Travis Kelce and his brother Jason Kelce have announced a hiatus for their popular New Heights podcast, citing Travis’ upcoming NFL commitments with the Kansas City Chiefs. The final episode before the break will air on July 23, with no confirmed return date.
The Kelce brothers are pausing their podcast as Travis prepares for training camp.
Jason, a retired NFL star, explained during this week’s episode: “Travis is heading to training camp. Whenever that happens, we take a hiatus—it’s impossible to juggle both.” The Chiefs’ training camp in St. Joseph, Missouri, runs from July 22 to August 13, with preseason games against the Cardinals, Seahawks, and Bears.
Travis, 35, acknowledged his focus has shifted entirely to football after a challenging 2024 season. Despite the Chiefs’ Super Bowl run, he recorded career lows in yards (823) and touchdowns (3) during the regular season. However, he shined in the playoffs, including a standout game against the Houston Texans.
Jason confirmed the hiatus, emphasizing his brother’s NFL priorities.
The tight end admitted last season’s distractions affected his performance. “I’m motivated to be accountable for my team this year,” Travis said on the Bussin’ With The Boys podcast. He emphasized recommitting to the sport ahead of his 13th NFL season and final contract year.
Off the field, Travis and girlfriend Taylor Swift have kept a low profile this offseason. The couple made limited public appearances, including a recent celebrity golf tournament in Lake Tahoe where the Kelce brothers played together.

While New Heights—boasting 2.5 million YouTube subscribers—goes on hold, pre-recorded interviews with guests will air. Fans eagerly await updates on the podcast’s return, but Travis’ immediate focus remains on the Chiefs’ quest for another championship.
Travis and Swift have stayed out of the spotlight this offseason.
With training camp days away, Kelce aims to silence critics and prove he’s still a dominant force. As Jason joked, “The mic drop is temporary—we’ll be back.” For now, football takes center stage.
Stay tuned for updates on the Kelce brothers’ next moves.
