Emo rock icons My Chemical Romance have revealed two surprise 2026 concerts at London’s Wembley Stadium, marking their first UK performances in four years. The band added the shows to their ongoing Long Live The Black Parade Tour, initially announced as an 11-date North American run.

Fans learned of the July 10–11, 2026, London dates via the band’s social media on Monday. Tickets go on sale August 15 at 10:00 AM BST. The shows follow postponed 2020 tour dates due to the COVID-19 pandemic, which were later rescheduled to 2022.

Band History & Hiatus
Formed in 2001, the group—fronted by Gerard Way, with Mikey Way (bass), Frank Iero (rhythm guitar), and Ray Toro (lead guitar)—rose to fame with albums like Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge (2004) and The Black Parade (2006). Their final album, Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys (2010), sold over a million copies before their 2013 breakup.

After reuniting for a 2019 charity show, My Chemical Romance planned a 2020 tour that was delayed until 2022. In 2022, they released The Foundations of Decay, their first new song in eight years.

Recent Challenges
The band faced tragedy in November 2025 when former drummer Bob Bryar died at 44. His passing led to the cancellation of most 2025 tour dates.

Expanded Tour Details
The current North American leg, running through September 2025, includes stops in Seattle, Los Angeles, Chicago, and Boston. Openers range from legends like Alice Cooper to newer acts like 100 Gecs.

In 2026, the tour expands to Mexico City (February 13–14) before concluding at Wembley. The London shows celebrate the 20th anniversary of The Black Parade, the rock opera that propelled them to global fame.

Legacy & Impact
Widely regarded as pioneers of 2000s emo culture, My Chemical Romance’s return continues to thrill fans. As one Twitter user wrote: “Wembley better brace itself—the Black Parade is coming home.”

Tickets for the 2026 shows available via official vendors.
