Sydney Roosters forward Victor Radley, 27, was photographed enjoying a casual outing at a Bronte beach café days before being named in a drug-related court summons. Accompanied by his pregnant fiancée Taylah Cratchley and their young son Vinnie, Radley mingled with teammates, including James Tedesco, Angus Crichton, and Mark Nawaqanitawase. The group laughed and shared coffee, with many shirtless players soaking up the spring sun ahead of the NRL finals.
The outing comes amid scrutiny over Radley’s indirect link to South Sydney player Brandon Smith’s drug supply case. Smith faces charges for allegedly supplying a dangerous drug on June 7 during a Sunshine Coast golf trip attended by Radley and other Roosters. Court documents mention Radley in connection to the supply allegation, though he has not been charged or accused of wrongdoing. Queensland Police stress he is not under investigation.

Smith’s legal team claims the hooker will contest the charges, arguing the summons doesn’t allege he physically handed drugs to anyone. Radley’s camp and Roosters officials have defended him, citing a lack of evidence. Coach Trent Robinson expressed frustration over media coverage, stating Radley was “hurt” by the sudden allegations. “We haven’t seen anything official—this is all speculation,” Robinson said, emphasizing the need to protect players’ reputations.

The investigation into Smith began in early August when police questioned him at Coolangatta Airport during a Rabbitohs trip. His phone was seized but later returned. Smith is scheduled to appear in Southport Magistrates Court on September 18.
Meanwhile, the Roosters, seeded eighth, are gearing up for a finals clash against Cronulla. The team aims to focus on the field despite off-field distractions, with stars like Tedesco and Nawaqanitawase prepping for high-stakes games.

As legal proceedings unfold, Radley’s role remains peripheral, with the club standing firm in support of their player.
