Fans were thrilled when ’90s actress Amy Yasbeck, 63, was spotted in Los Angeles sporting a casual plaid shirt, black tank, and cargo pants. From Sitcoms to Screens
Yasbeck began her career with TV guest spots on Dallas, Magnum, P.I., and Days of Our Lives. Her breakout role came as Flo, John Ritter’s gold-digging wife in Problem Child (1990), which sparked their real-life romance. She later starred in Splash, Too (1988), stepping into Daryl Hannah’s mermaid role, and played Elizabeth Stuckey in Pretty Woman (1990).

Love and Loss with John Ritter
Yasbeck and Ritter married in 1999 after meeting on Problem Child’s set. They welcomed daughter Stella in 1998 and shared the screen in Problem Child 2 and a Wings guest arc. Tragically, Ritter died in 2003 from an undiagnosed aortic dissection. Yasbeck later advocated for heart health awareness and founded the John Ritter Foundation.

Comedy and Legacy
A Mel Brooks favorite, Yasbeck shone in Robin Hood: Men in Tights (1993) and Dracula: Dead and Loving It (1995). Post-Wings, she appeared in That’s So Raven and pursued advocacy work. Reflecting on Ritter, she told People, “I miss John as a partner… I always feel he’s with me.”
