Bruno Fernandes delivered a blunt assessment of Manchester United’s pre-season performance after their 2-2 draw with Everton in Atlanta, branding his teammates “lazy” and urging the club to secure more signings before the new season.
United concluded their U.S. tour by lifting the Premier League Summer Series trophy, remaining unbeaten in four friendlies. However, Fernandes highlighted recurring flaws despite the positives. The Portuguese midfielder scored a penalty and set up Mason Mount’s second-half goal but criticized United’s lack of intensity.
