Fox producers Richie Zyontz and Rich Russo addressed plans for Swift’s Super Bowl appearances.

Fox’s NFL production team has confirmed Taylor Swift won’t have a fixed camera on her during Super Bowl LIX, despite her high-profile presence supporting boyfriend Travis Kelce. Richie Zyontz (lead producer) and Rich Russo (lead director) spoke to The Athletic about balancing Swift’s star power with the game’s broader narrative.

Swift, attending alongside stars like President Trump—the first sitting president at a Super Bowl—has become a focal point at Chiefs games since her relationship with Kelce went public in 2023. While her appearances attract new viewers, some fans criticize the frequent cutaways. Zyontz acknowledged her cultural impact but emphasized restraint: “Super Bowl is all about stars… but we won’t overdo it.

Russo added there’s no designated camera for Swift, but crews will locate her suite for “appropriate moments.” He noted overexposure diminishes impact, stating, “If you show her too often, it loses its value.
