Geordie Shore fan favorite Scotty T (real name Scott Timlin, 36) has reportedly been dropped from the Paramount+ series following a cocaine-related driving offense. The reality star, who returned to the show in 2022 after a two-year hiatus, pleaded guilty last month to driving with cocaine and its metabolite BZE in his system at levels far exceeding legal limits. He received a £330 fine and a 12-month driving ban.

A source told The Sun: “Bosses couldn’t endorse a cast member driving under the influence. It’s not a good look for MTV.” While the Geordie Shore cast is known for wild antics, producers drew the line at illegal behavior off-screen. Insiders added that Scotty could return if he “cleans up his act,” but he’s excluded from the upcoming season filming this spring.

Legal Troubles
In October 2023, Scotty was stopped in Newcastle while driving his Land Rover Discovery. Tests revealed 32 micrograms of cocaine per liter of blood—over three times the legal limit—and 800 micrograms of BZE, drastically above the 50-microgram threshold. This isn’t his first scandal: he was axed in 2018 after photos surfaced of him allegedly snorting a substance and exposing himself. He later entered rehab in 2017 but faced repeated backlash.

History of Controversy
Scotty joined Geordie Shore in 2012, becoming a staple until his 2018 dismissal. His 2022 comeback was billed as a “last chance,” with bosses warning him not to “ruin it.” A source previously noted, “He’s fun TV, but a liability.” Despite attempts to reform, his recent charges proved too damaging.

MTV has not officially commented, but insiders confirm the cast will film without him. Scotty’s reps also declined to address the axing.

Future Uncertain
While Scotty’s party persona fueled his fame, his off-screen choices have overshadowed his career. Fans await updates on whether he’ll rebound—or if this marks the end of his reality TV journey.
