Caroline Hjelle, wife of San Francisco Giants pitcher Sean Hjelle, has publicly accused her husband of abuse, infidelity, and abandoning their two young sons in a bombshell TikTok post. The video, shared on Mother’s Day, featured Caroline with their boys wearing custom t-shirts depicting their family, including Sean’s No. 64 jersey.
“When my MLB husband abandons us on Mother’s Day a week after this… I finally found out about his affairs and stopped putting up with his abuse,” she wrote. The clip highlights the couple’s unraveling marriage since their 2021 Virginia wedding, where their eldest son served as a ringbearer.

The Giants issued a brief statement to Daily Mail: “We are aware of these serious allegations. We have been in contact with MLB. These types of allegations fall under their jurisdiction.” Sean Hjelle, 28, has not publicly responded. Caroline also did not reply to requests for comment.

Behind the Scenes of an MLB Family
Caroline once offered fans a cheerful glimpse into their lives via TikTok, joking about her 6-foot-11 husband and calling their kids “7-foot toddlers.” Her recent posts, however, took a darker turn. Followers flooded the comments with support, urging her to “call cheaters out” and pursue divorce. One user advised, “Be the first to file… Sole custody was worth the fight.”

Career Struggles and Fan Backlash
Hjelle, a former SEC Pitcher of the Year at Kentucky, has struggled in the majors since his 2018 draft. This season, he holds a 4.66 ERA with San Francisco. Fans criticized his recent performance hours after Caroline’s post, noting he “gave up a home run 30 seconds ago” during a loss to Boston.
The allegations add turmoil to a career already under scrutiny. As MLB investigates, Caroline’s claims have sparked broader conversations about accountability in professional sports.
