Amid ongoing allegations of inappropriate behavior, a resurfaced TV clip shows chef Gino D’Acampo stripping naked in front of Gordon Ramsay’s mother, Helen, during an episode of Gordon, Gino and Fred: American Road Trip. ITV has since pulled reruns of D’Acampo’s travel series Italy: Secrets of the South and canceled planned episodes.
The 2019 episode featured Gino and co-host Fred Sirieix attempting to impress Helen with gourmet burgers. When their meal failed to win her approval, Ramsay dared them to jump into his Bel Air pool nude. Helen, seemingly unfazed, laughed and said, “I enjoyed it, don’t worry about it,” after the pair’s stunt. Gordon later apologized on-air.

Allegations Multiply
Over 40 individuals have now come forward with claims of “unacceptable” or “horrendous” behavior by D’Acampo, according to an ITV News investigation. Accusations include sexual comments and intimidation. One woman alleges he made a graphic remark during a 2011 photoshoot, stating he’d “f [her] up the a against the kitchen counter.” She described feeling humiliated as crew members laughed nervously.

Another claim involves Gino threatening a colleague by vowing to “have sex with [his] girlfriend” if she didn’t bring him ice cream. ITV stated most complaints were not reported at the time and emphasized production companies’ responsibility for duty of care.
Gino Denies Claims
The chef has denied all allegations, calling them “simply not in my nature.” His legal team disputed the 2011 incident, noting it was never formally raised before. “I was repeatedly supported by executives at the highest level,” D’Acampo added, referencing his continued prime-time roles during the period in question.

Career Impact
ITV’s removal of Gino’s shows follows heightened scrutiny of workplace conduct in media. The star rose to fame after winning I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! in 2009 and became a This Morning regular. However, his future projects now hang in limbo.

Helen Ramsay’s lighthearted reaction to the pool prank contrasts sharply with the gravity of current allegations, leaving fans questioning the chef’s off-screen conduct.
