Isla Fisher Opens Up About Divorce from Sacha Baron Cohen and Healing Journey

Isla Fisher, 49, has candidly discussed her split from Sacha Baron Cohen, 53, nearly a year after the couple announced their separation. The Australian actress, who shared a 20-year relationship and three children with the comedian, called their divorce “the hardest thing” she’s ever endured.

In April 2024, the pair revealed they had “quietly separated” in 2023 with a witty statement: “After a long tennis match lasting over 20 years, we are finally putting our racquets down.” Speaking to The Sunday Times, Isla reflected, “It’s the most difficult thing I’ve been through, but I’ve learned so much about myself. We are committed, loving parents.”

Fisher, who was nine when her own parents divorced, praised their peaceful co-parenting as her blueprint: “They were harmonious and inclusive. That’s the dream.” She and Sacha now live in London
