Kai Trump, granddaughter of former President Donald Trump, showed her support for UConn’s women’s basketball team during Friday’s March Madness Final Four in Tampa Bay. The 17-year-old shared a courtside photo from Amalie Arena on Instagram, tagging the Huskies—her pick to win the tournament—as they dominated UCLA 85-51. South Carolina also secured a spot in Sunday’s championship game after defeating Texas 74-57.

Backing the Huskies
Earlier this month, Kai predicted UConn would claim their 12th national title in a viral Instagram video. “They’ve killed all their games leading up to March Madness,” she said, praising the team’s consistency. Her men’s tournament choice, Duke, remains in contention behind star recruit Cooper Flagg, who faces Houston in the men’s Final Four on Saturday.

Golf Ambitions and Family Spotlight
Kai, a committed University of Miami golfer, recently competed at the elite Junior Invitational at Sage Valley. Despite a challenging performance—finishing last in the 24-player field at 52-over par—she drew attention with Secret Service agents accompanying her on the course.

The Trump family made headlines again days later when Kai’s mother, Vanessa Trump, announced her relationship with golf legend Tiger Woods via Instagram. The post, liked by Kai, read: “Life is better with you by my side.”

Championship Showdown Ahead
UConn and South Carolina will face off in the women’s title game Sunday at 3pm ET. Meanwhile, Kai’s social media presence continues to blend sports fandom and family moments, keeping her in the public eye as March Madness reaches its climax.
