Kelly Osbourne revealed she’s endured harsher judgment over her weight than for her past struggles with addiction and controversial behavior. At the Beacher Vitality Happy & Healthy Summit in Los Angeles, the 40-year-old star called out society’s fat-phobia, stating, “I’ve been a drug addict, an alcoholic… disrespectful to people—but I got more s*** for being fat than anything else. It’s insane.”

Osbourne, who underwent gastric bypass surgery in 2020 and lost 85 pounds, admitted she still battles unhealthy habits. “I don’t work out and live off chocolate and cookies some days,” she said. Despite her transformation, she emphasized that media scrutiny about her body persists: “You’ll never read an article about me without a comment on my weight.”

The daughter of rock legend Ozzy Osbourne recalled hurtful remarks: “People would say, ‘You’re so pretty. Just lose weight, and you’ll be the total package.’” She credited therapy for helping her “change her brain” and find self-acceptance.
Now a mother to 2-year-old Sidney with partner Sid Wilson of Slipknot, Kelly plans to expand her family. “I want tons more kids—as long as I can s** them out,” she joked to TooFab* in March. The couple raises their son on a farm in Iowa but will soon join Sid’s European tour with Slipknot in June.

Famous for MTV’s The Osbournes (2002–2005), Kelly reflected on fame’s pressures. Despite her rebellious past, she’s focused on mental health and parenting. “Once I got my mind right, everything fell into place,” she shared.

Her candid summit talk, alongside experts like Robert Huizenga and Christopher Schwarzenegger, highlighted societal double standards. “We live in a fat-phobic world,” she concluded, urging compassion over judgment.
