Darts sensation Luke Littler has hit back after a fan accused him of "bad behaviour" during his arrival in Prague for the Czech Darts Open. The 18-year-old, who faces Cameron Menzies in the tournament’s opening round, shared his frustration on Instagram following a late-night altercation at his hotel.
Littler, fresh off a string of victories including the World Matchplay and Flanders Darts Trophy, arrived in the Czech capital just before midnight on Friday. While posing for photos with supporters, a fan allegedly grabbed him from behind, sparking a heated exchange.

In a now-deleted Instagram story, Littler wrote: “You don’t grab someone—just ask nicely. How hard is it? To the guy who shouted at me and my dad, saying my behavior was bad… DON’T GRAB ME FROM BEHIND. That’s bad behavior, not mine.” He added that he immediately walked away after the encounter.
The teenager’s meteoric rise since his World Championship final debut in January 2024 has brought intense scrutiny. Littler has faced hostile crowds in Germany, where fans booed him during tournaments in Berlin and Munich. Earlier this year, he even threatened to boycott future German events but is still slated to compete in Hildesheim next month.

“The Germans mustn’t like us English,” Littler told Sky Sports, recalling the jeers during matches. “I had a head-loss moment. I can’t explain it.”
Despite the drama, Littler remains focused on extending his dominant streak. He recently claimed back-to-back titles in Australia, New Zealand, and Belgium, cementing his status as one of darts’ brightest talents. His £30,000 prize money in Flanders last week pushed his career earnings past £1.1 million.
The Warrington-born star, known for his composure under pressure, shrugged off the Prague incident, stating: “I’ll just keep doing me… and focus on winning trophies.” Fans will watch closely as he aims for another victory this weekend.
