Man Recounts Antonio Brown Shooting Horror: ‘Locked Eyes, Then He Ran for the Gun’
Antonio Brown Accused of Instigating Miami Bight, Lying About Stolen Pendant
Antonio Brown faces accusations of sparking a violent altercation in Miami and fabricating a theft story involving a pendant, according to Zül-Qarnaįn Nantambu, a man who claims he was injured in the brawl. The incident, captured in viral videos, adds to the former NFL star’s history of controversies.
Legal Battle and Miami Confrontation
Nantambu, 43, alleges Brown instigated the fight during a Miami boxing event on Friday, even wielding a firearm. The clash follows a years-long legal feud stemming from a dispute over a custom pendant. In 2022, Nantambu sued Brown, claiming the ex-NFL star stole the jewelry and falsely accused him of theft in Dubai, leading to Nantambu’s brief arrest. Though a $968,960 judgment against Brown was later voided, Nantambu is pursuing a reduced $123,600 claim in bankruptcy court.
At the Miami event, Nantambu says Brown falsely told security he was being attacked. “He plays gangster and blames CTE,” Nantambu told Daily Mail, referencing Brown’s frequent claims of brain injury.
The Fight: Chaos and Gunfire
Videos show Brown fleeing a scuffle and returning with a gun. Nantambu claims a bullet grazed his neck, and he broke a finger during the struggle. “He shot at me… we fought for the gun,” he said, adding that Brown fled but was later detained by police. No arrests were made, and Brown later hinted at legal action against his “attackers.”
Nantambu, who shared photos of his injuries, criticized Brown’s actions: “He thought he’d get a free kill under Florida’s ‘Stand Your Ground’ law.”

Dubai Incident: The Pendant Dispute
The feud traces back to a 2022 Dubai trip, where Nantambu claims Brown stole a pendant after a meeting with Floyd Mayweather. Brown allegedly lied to Dubai police, accusing Nantambu of theft. Though charges were dropped, the legal battle continued.

Nantambu’s Activism and Brown’s Downfall
Nantambu, a filmmaker and activist, made headlines in 2025 by storming the Super Bowl to protest for Sudan. He claims Brown’s legal and financial troubles—including selling off jewelry—contrast with his lavish public persona.

Ongoing Legal Drama
As Brown navigates bankruptcy, Nantambu vows to continue his legal fight. Brown’s attorney has not commented, leaving the saga unresolved.
