Mother of Mo Gilligan’s Secret Love Child Condemns Him Over Rare Visits, Claims Meetings ‘Countable on Fingers and Toes’

Mo Gilligan’s Ex Accuses Comedian of Absence in Son’s Life Amid Reports of New Baby

Selina Christoforou, mother of comedian Mo Gilligan’s 6-month-old son Rudi, has publicly criticized the TV star for his limited involvement in their child’s life. In a viral TikTok video, she claimed she can “count on her fingers and toes” how many times the 37-year-old Masked Singer judge has met their son, born in January 2024.

Selina revealed the paternity news on Instagram, stating, “Mo Gilligan is his dad—very much in quotation marks.” She expressed frustration, saying she hoped their situation would improve but acknowledged, “You can’t make someone be a dad.”

Mo Gilligan
Mo Gilligan, 37, is reportedly expecting another child with girlfriend Taia Tulher while facing criticism over his role in his son Rudi’s life.

The news of Mo’s fatherhood emerged alongside reports that he is expecting a second child with girlfriend Taia Tulher, 28. The couple, who have dated quietly for two years, are said to be preparing for their baby’s arrival in weeks. Taia hinted at her pregnancy in a March Instagram post, writing, “Today, I carry the love that made me… and the love I’ve only just begun to understand.”

Selina and Mo reportedly had a brief romance after meeting online, with their son’s birth surprising the “careful” pair. A representative for Mo declined to comment.

Taia Tulher
Taia Tulher, Mo’s current partner, announced her pregnancy earlier this year but kept his identity private.

Mo, who split from actress Sophie Wise in 2022, joined celebrity dating app Raya before his relationship with Taia. His career skyrocketed after viral comedy sketches in 2017, leading to roles on The Masked Singer and hosting gigs like the BRIT Awards. However, he faced setbacks in 2023 when Channel 4’s The Lateish Show and BBC’s That’s My Jam were canceled.

The comedian has been open about mental health struggles during his rise to fame, crediting therapy for helping him cope with depression. On Jamie Laing’s Great Company podcast, he admitted, “I lost myself… Therapy helped me open up and connect.”

Mo Gilligan career
Mo’s career includes high-profile shows, but recent cancellations and personal challenges have marked his journey.

As Selina seeks accountability, Mo’s focus appears divided between his growing family with Taia and navigating his career in the spotlight. The situation highlights ongoing tensions between his private life and public persona.
