Pop star Perrie Edwards, 32, brought laughs to TikTok this week as she hunted for Halloween costumes at TK Maxx while pregnant with her second child. The former Little Mix member, engaged to footballer Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, shared a playful video trying on a double cheeseburger costume paired with a French fries handbag. She joked with friends, including one dressed as a giant fries container, and explored spooky decor like a witch statue and pumpkin-holding knight. “TK Maxx finds Halloween edition,” she captioned the clip, teasing plans for a holiday party.

Mental Health Struggles and Childhood Challenges
Behind the lighthearted moment, Perrie has openly discussed her battle with agoraphobia, a anxiety disorder that once left her terrified to leave home or even order room service during Little Mix’s global tours. “I’d practice what to say in my head repeatedly before calling for food,” she shared on the Mental As Anyone podcast. The singer linked her anxiety to childhood trauma from oesophageal atresia, a rare condition that required frequent surgeries and left her unable to eat normally. “Growing up in a body that didn’t work made me feel trapped,” she explained.

Therapy and Recovery
Perrie credits therapy for helping her manage her fears. “I couldn’t leave the house last September… but I want a family and career,” she told the We Need To Talk podcast. Weekly sessions helped her connect her physical health struggles to her mental health, realizing her childhood surgeries contributed to feelings of claustrophobia. “Therapy gave me tools to rebuild my life,” she said.

New Beginnings: Motherhood and Music
Amid her mental health journey, Perrie is thriving personally and professionally. She and Alex, parents to son Axel, 4, are preparing for their new arrival. Simultaneously, she launched her debut solo album, Perrie, in September, celebrating with a bump-showcasing party. Balancing motherhood and music, she’s embracing this chapter with resilience.
