Renee Gracie Vows Never to Speak to Competitors Again: ‘I Took It Very Personally’

Renee Gracie Speaks Out on Chaotic Boxing Debut and Motorsport Challenges

Australian motorsport star Renee Gracie has opened up about her tumultuous boxing debut against Summer Perry, describing the match as a disorganized clash marked by rule-breaking and verbal attacks. The 30-year-old, known for her racing career and OnlyFans success, trained for months ahead of the April bout at the Podcast Royale Fight Night 2.0 on the Gold Coast. However, the event spiraled into chaos when Perry allegedly resorted to illegal moves, including kicks, elbows, and tackles, leaving Gracie frustrated and seeking answers.

“I’m still confused weeks later,” Gracie told Daily Mail Australia. “I dedicated myself to training, but once we stepped into the ring, it was clear [Perry] wasn’t interested in boxing rules.” Gracie claims Perry’s aggression extended beyond physical fouls, with personal insults shouted mid-fight. “Her only strategy seemed to be hurling abuse to weaken me. It backfired—it made me more determined,” she added.

The match ended with Perry’s disqualification, granting Gracie a victory she calls bittersweet. While open to future fights, she emphasizes the need for a “skilled, respectful opponent.” Reflecting on the ordeal, Gracie noted, “I’d love a rematch with someone who actually wants a fair, exciting fight.”

From Racing to Ring: Gracie’s Resilience
Gracie’s tenacity isn’t new. The former Supercars driver has faced adversity throughout her motorsport career, battling sexism that nearly drove her out of the industry. “People told me women didn’t belong in racing. It was exhausting to prove myself constantly,” she shared. In 2023, she made a triumphant return, founding her own GT World Challenge Australia team sponsored by OnlyFans.

Now a trailblazer, Gracie remains grateful for her platform. “Every day in this sport is a gift. I’m proud to inspire others, especially women, to chase their passions,” she said. Though boxing tested her resolve, Gracie’s focus remains on breaking barriers—both on the track and beyond.
