Sarah Jessica Parker Confirms Past Romance with Nicolas Cage Before Marrying Matthew Broderick

Sarah Jessica Parker, 60, revealed she briefly dated Hollywood star Nicolas Cage before marrying husband Matthew Broderick. The And Just Like That… actress shared the news during a candid chat on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen.

The pair co-starred in the 1992 rom-com Honeymoon in Vegas, where their on-screen chemistry reportedly sparked a real-life romance. When Cohen asked if rumors of their past relationship were true, Parker replied, “Um, yes I did [date him].”
Cage, 61, went on to marry four times, including short-lived unions with Lisa Marie Presley (2002–2004) and Erika Koike (annulled after four days in 2019). He is now wed to Riko Shibata, with whom he shares a two-year-old daughter.

Parker, who married Broderick in 1997, also disclosed she was the first to say “I love you” to the Lion King star. The couple shares three children: son James Wilkie, 22, and 16-year-old twins Tabitha and Marion.
Before Broderick, Parker dated Robert Downey Jr. for seven years, as well as Michael J. Fox and John F. Kennedy Jr.
Parker confirmed the romance during her WWHL appearance.
