Reality TV star Teddi Mellencamp, 43, delivered hopeful news in her battle against stage four cancer, announcing that her tumors have significantly shrunk—putting her on the path to being cancer-free within weeks. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum revealed the update via an emotional Instagram video, stating doctors believe immunotherapy treatments are successfully eradicating her metastatic melanoma.

“I just finished my scans, and my tumors have shrunk or disappeared. Doctors say if everything stays on course, I’ll be healed after six more weeks of immunotherapy,” Mellencamp shared. The mother of three, diagnosed in February after emergency brain surgery uncovered multiple tumors, had previously been given a grim 50-50 survival chance.

From Crisis to Hope
Mellencamp’s journey began with debilitating symptoms, including vision loss and severe headaches. “I couldn’t see. I barely made it down the stairs,” she recalled. Following her diagnosis, tumors were found in her lungs and brain, prompting aggressive treatment. Despite preparing her children for “the worst,” her latest scans show remarkable progress.

Facing the Odds
In a recent Nightline interview, Teddi opened up about grappling with her prognosis. “Doctors said ‘fifty-fifty.’ I wouldn’t buy a car with a 50% chance of working,” she said, highlighting the emotional toll. Immunotherapy, a decade-old treatment, offered a lifeline, though its long-term success rates remain uncertain.

Support and Gratitude
Fans and friends flooded her update with support. RHOBH co-star Kyle Richards cheered, “BEST DAY EVER!!!!” in the comments. Teddi credited her resilience to positivity and medical support, quoting her doctor: “You did this. You got this.”

A Message of Vigilance
Mellencamp urges others to heed early symptoms. “If something feels off, get checked,” she emphasized, reflecting on her delayed diagnosis. Her transparency has raised awareness about melanoma, a deadly skin cancer that can spread unnoticed.

With two final treatments remaining, Teddi remains cautiously optimistic. “I’m keeping a positive outlook,” she said, signing off with gratitude for the outpouring of prayers and love.
