Amy Childs, 34, has fired back at cruel online comments about her dramatic weight loss, admitting the negativity has taken a toll. The TOWIE star, who recently shed two stone (28 pounds), shared an emotional Instagram post acknowledging the criticism and her journey toward self-acceptance.

“I wasn’t going to post this, as I’ve been getting such awful comments about my weight,” she wrote alongside a video of herself in a bikini. “I need to learn to love myself again… I definitely need to put on some weight, but I’ll get there. Positive vibes please.”

Amy revealed her slim figure is the result of immense stress, including her mother’s health battles and canceling her wedding to fiancé Billy Delbosq. In an interview with OK! Magazine, she explained, “I’m going through so much that the weight fell off. My mum’s had heart issues, and I’m juggling parenting four kids and renovations.” She emphasized she is eating but feels “better when heavier.”

The star also disclosed she once tried weight-loss injections 18 months ago but quit after severe nausea. “They made me so ill—I threw up three or four times,” she said.

Reports confirm Amy postponed her wedding indefinitely, with a source telling Closer: “She’s gutted. The stress became too much.” The couple had initially delayed their 2023 wedding due to personal challenges.

Despite the turmoil, Amy remains resilient: “I’ve been in this industry 15 years. People are quick to judge, but I’m strong.” Fans flooded her posts with support, urging her to prioritize health over hate.
